Prominently located at the busiest intersection in San Diego County, the corner of La Jolla Village Drive and Genesee Avenue at Westfield’s sensational addition to the University Town Center in La Jolla, the Winery Restaurant and Wine Bar opened its third location in 2018. Allgood Allen Design fulfilled the owner’s vision of creating a vibrant, contemporary, beach-inspired fine dining experience.
This location features an expansive covered front patio off of an olive tree-lined courtyard where guests are greeted by both a breathtaking stone slab clad living wall and warming fire feature. The entire patio opens to the main bar and restaurant for a welcoming indoor-outdoor experience, including patio seating at the breathtaking backlit blue agate stone bar top.
The design is crafted to echo the natural inspirations of the patio and surrounding beach city with laser cut tree screen railings, flowing ceilings, cork upholstery, and unique pebble stones.
Following in tradition with the other two locations, La Jolla offers a private dining room, a tantalizing menu from chef Yvon Goetz, custom lighting, and an impressive wine offering.
Guests can be a part of the excitement in the kitchen through glimpses into the exhibition window and the enticing ocean bar. This restaurant has something for everyone and sure to be a destination spot for any special occasion.
